Limes

Procrastination really pays off sometimes. I remember as a child we used to have a lime tree in the backyard. A precious gift from a previous owner. I was quite fond of sour things and I just adored this lime tree. We had limeade, lime rickeys, and lime chicken. Then one year we just got lazy. I can’t recall if we went out of town that summer or we just ignored that poor lime tree but that year some of the limes didn’t get picked. And as those limes just sat on that tree the most amazing thing happened. They turned into lemons. A real lesson for life. Procrastinate and your limes might turn into lemons.

I just saw your comment on my blog...thanks!

As for the motto--I am going to cross stitch it on a pillow and give it out to the blogworld for Christmas next year!!! :-) This motto is the reason I am still active in church and haven't decked about one million people in Walmart!

Hi ! Thanks for commenting my blog! I also like how you write your blog. In my country we call the limes- green lemons, but I never thought they can really turn in to lemons if you don’t pick them. :-)There is always something new to learn.
